Very timely professional & personable

We always find the furniture that we need.

We purchased a couch a year and a half ago and 7 months-ish in was un-repairable due to not being able to get parts. Credited us for the couch, minus restocking fee which is bogus when their product failed in less than a year. Got a new couch and again nothing but a maintenance nightmare. Coming up on our year warranty and been trying to get a section of our couch fixed for weeks now, they took it to the shop for a week and delivered and even the delivery guys admitted it wasn’t fixed and the frame is broke. Call back in to start ANOTHER claim for it and they’re picking it back up this week (after the rep tried to tell me our warranty is over) but the couch was also delivered in worse condition and now one side leans and has a massive gap and a screw has fallen out since. Absolutely frustrating and customer service refuses to escalate the claim and allow you to talk to someone outside the repair call que. Call corporate they never answer and just send you to voicemail and never call back. Now after my warranty is out and I’m left with a janky couch I’m just out of luck and hundreds of dollars. Continuing to have furniture that doesn’t last longer than a year is absolutely outrageous. *also our 1 star review on the couch on their website has since been deleted as well, so much for transparency*

Customer service for calls on delivery are terrible. Communication is not there and it's impossible to get someone on the phone because the automated system gate keeps you and won't let you no matter what you punch in.

Easy process from purchasing to delivery.

Salesmen We’re not helpful at all. When I went through the front door, I told the man what I wanted and he pointed his finger and said they’re back there, I walked into a sea of recliners and wandered aimlessly searching for something that I have a picture of, but I could not find. Once I found it, I sat down in it and waited for a salesman to approach me and that did not happen. I had to go seeking one throughout the whole store. He was polite once I found him. The men are a different story. Those two fellas were great. They had to get it through a tight spot, smiling all the way very polite, very professional, I would recommend the delivery fella’s II’m not sure I would recommend the salesman however I do love the recliner and I’m very happy with my purchase.

From the moment I stepped into the showroom to delivery, dealing with American Furniture was stellar. The sales person, Oscar Franco, was great and the delivery service was top notch. Louis and Robert kept me well informed of their timing, were right on time, worked efficently and set everything up to my liking. I highly recommend AFW.

Couch delivered with tearing seams. Stopped into the store and was directed to a phone number, then directed to a website, then back to the phone number, unclear process on how to get it addressed. Would not recommend. EDIT: The warranty saga continues- submitted a claim per their instructions and was told we would get a response within 48 hours. It has been over 96 hours with no response and the phone sends you through a loop to check online. Anyone I talk to says they're waiting and can't do anything. One of the worst claims/warranty situations I've had to deal with. This feels like a scam the BBB should know about. Read other reviews with customer service experiences after damaged or defective purchases. Would put all purchases from this store on Amex or card with good purchase protection as AFW will not be helpful.

The in store check out employee that processed our $700+ couch was wonderful. But the delivery guys were extremely disrespectful until I pulled out a $40 tip.

This is the first time we've had any problem with AFW products. They honored the warranty and had our chair repaired in 2 days

I love my new couch! The sales people were so nice and helpful. We purchased the last type of this couch and we received a great deal! The delivery was wonderful! The measurements were wrong on my door and the couch wouldn't fit! So they had to lift it above my patio (thank God I am on the first floor!) through my sliding glass door! I kept have panic attacks but the delivery guys kept reassuring me that everything was going to be OK and it was! Great job all around American Furniture Warehouse!
